Notes from our data check
Brand 'Measurements & dimensions': '35L 4.1lbs / 55 x 32 x 21 cm; 21.5 x 12.5 x 8 in' and 'The expansion compartment adds 7 cm of depth to both bags. Width and height remain unchanged.' expandedDims are computed from that statement: 21 + 7 = 28 cm deep, and 8 in + 2.76 in = 10.8 in deep. CONFLICT on the same page: 8 in = 20.3 cm, but the cm figure is 21 cm; both stored as published. Pakt: 'This bag is carry-on compliant with most major airlines, even though the dimensions may not be within limits... we don't strictly adhere to them because soft luggage is malleable.' The 45L size (60 x 33 x 24 cm / 23 x 13 x 9 in, 4.4 lb, $345, sold out) is over most limits and was not added. The page says 'The best-selling carry-on is back and better than ever', so this may be a newer version than Pack Hacker's V2 review. The Pakt One Travel Backpack 35L+ (19.5 x 12.5 x 9 in / 50 x 32 x 23 cm, 3.6 lb, $349) is a different bag. Price $325 (Black and Forest in stock). Amazon not checked. Derived values: kg from lb. The page gives 21 cm and 8 in for the depth; we use the cm figures, which are the larger.
