Aer Lingus carry-on and personal item size
The limits below are quoted from Aer Lingus's baggage rules. Sizes include wheels and handles unless noted.
You can also bring one small personal item, e.g. small handbag, laptop, duty free or baby changing bag with a maximum size: Height: 40cm (15.5") Width: 30cm (11.5") Depth: 20cm (8")
CONFLICT: several third-party guides and UK airport pages (and an Aer Lingus staging-server copy seen in search) give a smaller personal item of 25 x 33 x 20 cm (H x W x D). The 40x30x20 figure comes from an official Aer Lingus page that also still carries pre-March-2026 regional rules, so it may be stale. Use 33x25x20 as the conservative fit limit until the live carry-on page can be checked. Dimensions are H x W x D as stated. No weight stated.

Press release 19 Feb 2026 confirms 55 x 40 x 24 cm and extends the 10kg policy to Aer Lingus Regional (Emerald, EI3000-3999) from 3 March 2026 (previously 7kg / 48x33x20 cm on Regional). Without an included carry-on, a 10kg bag brought to the gate costs EUR 35.
