Emirates carry-on and personal item size
The limits below are quoted from Emirates's baggage rules. Sizes include wheels and handles unless noted.
One piece of carry-on baggage is permitted with maximum dimensions: 55 x 38 x 22cm (22 x 15 x 9 inches) and maximum weight: 7kg (15lb).
Emirates publishes no separate personal item for Economy: the allowance is one piece. Business/First may add a briefcase (45 x 35 x 20cm) plus a handbag or garment bag.
Weight limit: 15 lb (7 kg).
Economy Class 7 kg Carry-on Carry-on dimensions should not exceed 55 x 38 x 22cm
cm is authoritative. Emirates' inch figures are inconsistent: '22 x 15 x 8 inches' (Economy imperial card), '22 x 15 x 9 inches' (Economy text) and '21.6 x 14.9 x 8.6 inches' (Premium Economy card, same cm box). Recorded the exact conversion. Premium Economy 10 kg. Boarding in India: max 115 cm (45.3 in) linear. From Brazil: 10 kg. Wheels/handles not addressed.
